The top painting is 22"x30" and was painted only with a palette knife. The bottom one is 28"x40" and has a way to go still.

New work

Just started these little paintings this week. More work to do on the clouds in both paintings and on the trees and ground in the lower painting.

The beginning of another cloud painting. This one comes from a video I shot through the windshield of the car while travelling to Death Valley. Still a lot of work to do on it.

Little Painting

Just started this little painting this morning. I think I will keep it fairly minimal and just add a bit more detail to the girl on the right. The image is from a video I shot in Death Valley. Oil on canvas. 21"x29".

The cloud is finished! The colors are better than in the photo.

Progress on the big Tallinn painting. It WILL be finished by the end of May.

Progress on the Death Valley painting. The bottom image is my palette the day I painted the sun flares. Not my usual colors. Still lots of work to do on this one.

Bigger than gigantic

Just started this painting yesterday. It is 6'x8' oil on canvas.
